The Early Bird Skydive – 5 Things To Know
Skydiving Tips
Posted by: Wisconsin Skydiving Center 3 years ago
If a bird is rewarded for leaving the nest early to have a delicious breakfast while others sleep, then imagine the rewards of skydiving first thing in the morning! The early bird jump time is the premier time of day to skydive. Here’s five amazing reasons why skydiving early is where it’s at!
V.I.P. Baby!
As the Brits like to say, “Get in the queue”, but here’s the sweet news with the early bird: there is no queue. In American-speak, that means no-lines, baby! You and your gorgeous party arrive, walk up to the registration counter, sign your lives away, train and march to the plane through the velvet rope like a boss! You won’t be waiting for others to complete their jumps before you can board the aircraft because you’re first in line!
That View, Though!
If you’re one of those over-achievers people who get out of bed at sunrise, then you know how special those early mornings are. The air is cool and crisp, the sun creates beautiful shadows across the glistening morning dew and it’s wonderfully peaceful… now imagine all of that from 10,000 feet! The view is spectacular and the annoyance you felt when your alarm clock went off is washed away – this was totally worth it.
All the Feels
If you’re one of those people who goes out of your way to soak up every ounce of a life experience (like being first in line when the new iPhone goes on sale) then this is for you! Many people skydive, but few experience it quite like this. Once you land, having seen the world waking up from above… there really isn’t anything like it. You’ll be feeling heaps and heaps of gratitude because what you just witnessed is something you’ll never forget. We’ll bring the Kleenex because we just know you’ll be verklempt. (Talk amongst yourselves).
Weather – Ain’t No Body Got Time For That
Do you know who likes to spoil the party? The weather gods! (curse you weather gods!) Nothing is more disappointing than arriving for your skydive after weeks of stressing only to find that the wind is too strong, or the clouds are too low, or it’s raining… but you know what we’ve learned? The weather gods like to sleep past the early bird time slot. Oh yes, they do.
During the summer months, the weather tends to be better in the early morning. Once the day begins to warm up, the aforementioned weather-plagueuries begin to plague us. And ain’t no body got time for that!
Roll Out & Rock Your Day!
Once you land from your early bird skydive, guess what? You’ve got the entire day left for other adventures (they won’t be as great as your skydive, but no judgment here). You’ll leave us feeling like a million bucks and prepared to continue on with the best day of your life!
Our marketing guy says that if you can get people to laugh, you can get people to listen, or in this case, read. So if you made it this far, thanks for learning about our early bird tandem skydive. If you found this article to be anything but funny, let us know… the marketing guy is on thin ice these days…
