Meet Riley
Growing up, Riley spent a lot of time at the local airport – however, not with any interest in skydiving. Instead, he was learning to fly airplanes with his father; a private pilot, and long time friends of Bo and Alex. Riley had always been around aviation and skydiving, but the only interest in skydiving came later when, in high school, he was offered a summer job as a parachute packer at WSC. What started as a summer job quickly became a passion that would change the course of his life entirely. After spending so much time surrounded by the community at WSC, it was clear that Riley was in the right place. Just days after turning 18 (on a snowy December day in Wisconsin), he was able to take a quick 1 on 1 AFF course with Bo, and made his first few solo skydives. Following high school Riley continued his career in skydiving, starting as a videographer and over the years attaining his instructional ratings, all while serving in the Wisconsin Army National Guard and studying physics at UW-Whitewater. After taking some time off to work at Intel as an engineer, he found his way back to WSC, doing what he loves – jumping out of planes, and sharing that experience with others.
Riley is currently working on finishing his FAA Senior Rigger’s ticket, and is training for this season’s upcoming canopy piloting competitions.
Customer Testimonial
The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My tandem instructor Riley, was great! He was down to earth and easy to chat with, which helped the nerves prior to jump! It was an awesome experience, I highly recommend!
