A DOUBLE AMPUTEE AND A NATIONAL CHAMPION – MEET ALISTAIR HODGSON

Here at WSC we believe in overcoming obstacles, facing your fears and achieving your greatness. Alistair Hodgson inspired us!

At the tender age of 21, Alistair lost his legs having been brutally maimed by an Irish Republic Army bomb in Northern Ireland. While laying on the ground in agony, he begged that someone put him out of his misery. Fortunately, the soldier with him ignored the request and got him a paramedic who would save his life but not without losing his legs.

What started as a rebuilding of his life led to doing one tandem skydive which led to the desire to learn to skydive which would eventually lead to a gold medal at the British National Championships and a bronze at the World Championships in Dubai. Alistair’s flying skills are amazing and he has overcome more obstacles than we can dream about.
