Meet Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn’s first skydiving experience was on her 18th birthday in 2017—and unlike most, she was not instantly hooked. In fact, she got sick… multiple times. Still, she was convinced to give it another try and bought a jump pass. Even after her second jump, she wasn’t sure how she felt. But as the saying goes, the third time’s the charm! After her third tandem in 2019, Kaitlyn finally fell in love with skydiving.
In 2020, she signed up for the first available First Jump Course to earn her license—but the journey wasn’t easy. Kaitlyn continued to struggle with motion sickness and even made a Wisconsin Skydiving Center record as the first (and only) student to get sick during training. At times, she felt discouraged and was told it would be understandable if she chose not to continue.
But Kaitlyn didn’t quit. After finding a motion sickness solution that worked for her, she pushed forward—and today, she has logged over 1,200 jumps.
Her advice: “Don’t let adversity (or motion sickness) get in the way of your passions. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be where I am today.” If Kaitlyn can skydive, so can you!!!
Customer Testimonial
Absolutely the BEST experience of my life so far! The staff at Wisconsin Skydiving Center was welcoming from the moment we walked all the way until the end. Their positive energy helped to make the environment calm and comfortable to all. You could tell that not only were the staff extremely knowledgable in the field but they clearly loved what they do and want you to leave feeling the same way…could not have had such a wonderful experience without Kaitlyn. She truly made my experience memorable and created an epic video so that I can re-watch this memory again. I’m hoping for the same team the next time I go :) Highly recommend!!
