Upcoming Skydiving Events You Can’t Ignore

The summer may be ending, but there are some major events on the skydiving calendar that can’t be ignored including a Guinness World Record.

Guinness World Record for Most Jumps – (September 5-6) Jay Stokes will attempt to blow away his old world record of 640 skydives in 24 hours. Jay is attempting to make 700 skydives!

US Nationals of Skydiving – (September 10-23) Skydive Chicago will be hosting the top skydiving talent from all over the United States. The skydiving disciplines of Formation Skydiving, Canopy Formation, Freestyle, Freefly, Freefall Style, Accuracy and Vertifical Formation will be held over two weeks. Click here for more info.

Jump Shout! Most Tandem Skydives in One Day (September 27, 2014) Skydive Spaceland-Houston and Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation (CCRF) are attempting to break the current Guinness World Record of 251 tandem skydives completed in a single location in one day by doing 400 or more! The proceeds from this event benefit CCRF, which supports children under 18 and their families facing the hardships of cancer through financial aid, gift, research, and camp programs.
