The cost of skydiving depends on a few factors. The price can vary on whether it is your first time skydiving, you choose to make a reservation, you’re going with a group, or you decide to add on a media package. Let’s talk about the expenses of skydiving for the first time or as a hobby, as well as what you can expect, why skydiving is expensive, and if it’s even worth it! (Spoiler: it’s absolutely worth it!)
Skydiving prices vary from dropzone to dropzone and – we believe – you get what you pay for! At Wisconsin Skydiving Center, our tandem skydive cost starts at $275, and we offer discounts for military, students, and groups of four or more.
You may also consider adding on one of our video services so that you have your life-changing moment forever captured on film. One of the biggest regrets for first-time jumpers is that they didn’t get photos and videos of their jump. Trust us, it’s worth it to be able to relive your incredible experience!
At Wisconsin Skydiving Center (WSC), our skydiving rates reflect our attention to detail, diligent maintenance of our airplanes and skydiving gear, as well as the high-quality training of our certified instructors. While we don’t offer the cheapest skydiving prices in Wisconsin, we do offer the best skydiving experience – whether it is your first jump or your 1,000th!
Our mission centers on maintaining a fun, safety-focused community. We are driven by our core values not only as an organization but as individuals as well.
WSC Core Values:
Wait – skydiving as a hobby?! That’s right! Skydiving doesn’t have to be a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience. You can (and tons of people do) get a skydiving license to learn how to jump all by yourself! Getting your skydiving license can seem quite expensive at first glance, but you do have the option to pay as you go. You can rest assured that our program pricing is transparent. Once you break down the cost and consider all that goes into each jump – the price makes sense!
In our intentionally designed Learn to Skydive Program, you’ll have one-on-one dedicated instructor time, and sometimes two instructors at a time. Everything is included in the price for the learn to skydive program: your two three-hour long instructional classes, your 25 required jumps, the professional one-on-one coaching/instruction of our dedicated instructors, and ALL of the skydiving equipment necessary (parachute rig, jumpsuit, altimeter, helmet, radios, etc.)!
At WSC, our instructors are experienced, open-minded, and passionate people who will do everything they can to help you accomplish your goals. With our dedication to safety, top-notch equipment, and highly experienced team, we are confident that our Learn to Skydive Program will set you up for success as you spread your wings and fly solo as a licensed skydiver!
Once you get your skydiving license, the price to jump goes down significantly – usually to around $30 or less! One thing to keep in mind, however, is the cost of the skydiving equipment which can range anywhere from $4,000 to $14,000 (depending on if you buy used and which brand or type of equipment that interests you). At most dropzones, you’ll have the option to rent gear, which usually costs around $50 per jump.
Absolutely. Totally! YES! We may be a little biased, but we are serious when we say that skydiving is one of the most amazing experiences you will have in your lifetime. Some even say that it feels like an out-of-body experience (and we agree)! The freedom you’ll feel the moment you leave the airplane is like no other.
The side effects of skydiving on the body are so beneficial that you’ll feel like a brand-new person. The adrenaline rush and flood of endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin will make you feel like you’re superhuman!
Skydiving is difficult to describe; it must be experienced first-hand. Book your jump today with Wisconsin Skydiving Center and find out for yourself! Blue skies.
